“Small Steps, Big Changes – A Mother’s Story of Transformation”
I’m Anju Devi from Bokaro, mother of Rajmat. We joined Deepshikha in 2023 after noticing delayed milestones and hyperactivity in my son. With regular therapy and education, his behavior and understanding have improved a lot. Now, even after shifting to Bokaro, we continue weekly visits to ensure his progress stays consistent.
“I Joined to Help My Children, I Stayed to Help Many More”
I’m Anju Singh, mother of two children with autism. As I spent time with them at Deepshikha, I felt inspired to support other kids too. In 2017, I officially joined the team. I’ve always loved art, so now I use it to teach children creatively while helping them build life skills.
“Helping My Daughter Led Me to Discover My Own Purpose”
I’m Jhuma Gupta, mother of Mouli. When we discovered her learning challenges, we joined Deepshikha. I left my job to support her and soon got the chance to assist at the school. Over time, I trained in special education and found real joy in helping other children grow—just like my own daughter.
“From Struggles to Strength – Amar’s Journey of Hope”
My son Amar couldn’t speak or walk properly when he joined Deepshikha at age 10. He needed help with everything—eating, bathing, learning. Slowly, he began to improve. Now he can eat on his own, manage his daily needs, and even help at home. I’m so thankful for his progress.
“From Rejection to Real Progress – Raunak’s Inspiring Path”
Raunak had speech and learning difficulties from an early age and was removed from two schools. We joined Deepshikha in 2020, and since then, he’s made great strides. He’s become more independent, takes part in school tasks, and manages himself better. It’s been a turning point for us.
20 Years of Empowerment, Inclusion & Progress
For two decades, Deepshikha has been a beacon of hope—empowering children with autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental challenges through compassionate education, therapy, and inclusive community programs. Our journey symbolizes unwavering resilience, steadfast belief, and the boundless potential that each child carries.
